It all started out as a normal move with the only difference that Bill had help from Ray, the new owner of our Chickering, instead of one of us. |

The piano got loaded onto the dolly so we could roll it to the back of the store. |

This is Bill's area of expertise and it went very smoothly. |

Outside the store however there was not our good old faithful piano truck, but......... |

which was attached to a big crane. Ray and Valerie Dreo, owners of Jake's (the name of their dog!) Crane and Equipment, had decided to move the piano themselves to it's new location, their shop in Stevensville. |

Bill, Valerie and Ray made sure that the piano was protected for it's little flight. |

It's obvious that this is not their first move. For Ray and Valerie this was nothing, they told us a story of a Belgium horse that they rescued with one of their cranes this week. |

While Ray lifted the piano with the crane, Valerie moved the truck, and the piano was standing on its feet again in no time. |

Bill and Ray used plenty of straps and tarps to make sure that the 106 year old piano would have a safe and dry journey to Stevensville... |

The End
where, at some point, the piano has to be moved from inside their store to their house and guess what......... the piano needs to be lifted over the roof of their house! We will definitely try to be there to take some pictures! |
